Nashville, TN – October 2023
7 day residence programme. I conducted my still life painting workshop for students and faculty, presented "Dear Archives Lecture, ran High school workshops and networked with potential customers, and upcoming visual artists in the US.

The World Reimagined:

“The World Reimagined” is an art education project with Yinka Shonibare being the founding artist of the first globe in The World Reimagined Trails. My globe titled “Dear Archives” features in the trail in Birmingham, and in Birmingham City Council News Article
Black Aristocratic Art Founder| New York Times
2019-2022
I created Black Aristocrat Art blog, a collection of digital archives, paintings, short videos, educational resources, and events. This content highlights African Europeans who were pioneers, aristocrats, generals, abolitionists, entrepreneurs and prolific for being anything but slaves, or victims of colonization. My blog has featured on the New York Times style section
Tate Gallery| How to Series:
Trinity Gallery – London – July 2022
As a Tate supplier, I present the episode “How to Paint a Flower Like a Pre-Raphaelite” for Tate’s “How To” Series, demonstrating the painting process and materials needed to achieve this.
English Heritage| Painting Our Past Documentary:
London – 2021
English Heritage commissioned a series of portraits depicting six historic figures from the African diaspora whose stories have contributed to England’s rich history. I was commissioned to paint James Chappelle. The documentary received publicity from the BBC, Guardian, Telegraph and many other outlets.
Trinity Studios| 6 Months Residency:
Trinity Art Studio – London – July-December 2021
Working with Ian Felton, owner of Trinity Gallery and Studio, I was given space to complete my 200cm x 160cm painting titled “Allegories of Africa”.
